National Fairs

 
1) What is SRC?
SRC stands for Scientific Review Committee. It is a panel of eminent scientists and senior academicians from renouned institutes of India who screen the synopses and zero down on the winners.

 

2) Who will evaluate the synopsis?
A group of eminent scientists called the Scientific Review Committee (SRC) will review your synopsis.

 

3) Is there any restriction on the word limit for the synopsis or the report?
Your synopsis cannot exceed 250 words.

 

4) What is the criterion of short-listing a synopsis?
The judges usually look for the following attributes in a synopsis: Creativity & Ability; Scientific thought and engineering goals; Thoroughness; Skill; Clarity and Team work in case of a team project. So make sure to keep these important tips in mind when you write your project.

 

5) What is the selection process?
We have a panel of judges called the scientific review committee (SRC). These judges evaluate all the synopses received based on the creativity, ability and other criteria as per the Intel STDF norms and shortlist 150 projects.

The short-listed projects participate in the National Fairs. 2 individual projects and 1 team project from each National Fairs is sent to Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) 2004 in the US.

 

6) What is the criterion for short-listing?
The judging criteria involve the following:
