FAQ's on Intel STDF
Three National Fairs were held in January 2003, at Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore in January - February 2003. The details of the National Fairs are as follows:

Bangalore February 1st to 3rd, 2003 National Science Seminar Complex,
Indian Institute of Science,
Malleswaram, Bangalore

This year 2,454 direct entry projects competed at the Synopsis Screening level and out of these 135 projects were selected for participation at the National Fairs.

In order to reach out to bright and talented students throughout the country, we have also tied up with Central and State Governments Science Fairs so that students get an opportunity to showcase their innovative ideas. 115 Projects were selected from these Affiliated Fairs for participation at the Intel STDF 2003 National Fairs.

Two individual and one team project from each National Fair, i.e. a total of 12 students have been selected to represent India at the Intel ISEF 2003 to be held at Cleveland, USA in May 2003.
